Flashermac Posted December 19, 2006 Report Share Posted December 19, 2006 I remember reading about 10 years ago about the demise of a Polish woman gold medal winner from the Berlin Olympics. The American silver medalist had insisted the Pole was a man all along. Seems the "woman" refused to use the same showers and locker room and looked decidedly suspicious. But the judges were a bit lax back then. Yup, an autopsy showed the Polish "woman" was a guy! The Olympic Medal committee revoked the gold medal and awarded it to the American runner. Steve Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2006 I ran track (athletics to europeans) in uni and one summer a whole bunch of people in my event were injured and was lucky enough to go to Europe and run. There was this girl...or they said she was a femlae, from the then soviet union and I swear she had razor stubble and and was built llike a body builder.
