ThaiHome
Country code for Thailand is 66. Mobiles in Thailand, when calling from international, start with 1 (or 9). Therefore, for a Thailand mobile number 01 999 2233, you would put +66 1 999 2233.
Stickman
I used to use that MTN site years ago when I was back in NZ and it was good. But these days, that site does not seem so reliable. I have tried over different periods of time to send messages to mobiles in Thailand, specifically those on the One2Call network - and the SMSs do not get there... Sometimes they get there but a few hours late... Basically, that site is unreliable. Stick
Boo Radley
Yes, I tried to register for the SMS service at http://www.mtnsms.com/ a few days ago. However the page just timed out and was unable to complete the process.
Kiwi
Yup Ok thanks Guys, Thaihome Stickman Boo Radley. The site was at one stage really reliable. Lately it is rather difficult to manage... As Thaihome indicates the dialing numbers, I have tried ,only to have the indicators reflect 'Incorrect International Number', then 'Incorrect number'...and yet prior to this I have had success with the number (s). None-the-less I shall try again...and Ta to those who responded . See ya ( May), Kiwi. Stickman I did meet with you one night at your 'hangout' in NEP in September. Cheers.
