Artice: High school coach faces abuse charges MONUMENT, Colo. -- Gregory Lynn Burr, a 28-year-old former high school basketball coach, faces 39 charges for allegedly hitting male students in the groin, showing them pornography and pouring water on his players and then driving them to games in the winter with the windows rolled down. Burr faces charges ranging from sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust to child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury, according to court documents reviewed by The Gazette of Colorado Springs. One of the students claims to have had scrotal surgery because of Burr's alleged assault. A student in documents said Burr would ask them, "What is the capital of Thailand?" Ckrisg Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 Amazing in the UK its pratically impossible to get a job working in many industries if you have a criminal record for a minor incident (as you are classed as suitable and worthless) yet these so called pillars of the community seem to have a high percentage of complete nut jobs. was_usvirgin Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 I'm not sure which was the more heinous of his two offenses - kicking the students in the nuts, or rehashing the most tired and over used play on words in the history of mankind, 'bangcock'. That ignorant response has practically stopped me from mentioning my travels to anyone but friends. I had a gym teacher back in high school who asked me many times to go to Black's Beach with him (a nudist beach). Of course I said no, but I wasn't the only one. The guy also coached the boys' volleyball team that were usually state or national champions - lots of future Olympians on his teams - and he tried to hit on those guys too. I heard some funny stories. Everyone knew about the guy, but it was back in the '70s and nobody cared. Our attitude was that the fucker was just gay. Promised he'd give her an A if she did. The girl instead went to the rector and complained. The offending teacher was "punished" by a reprimand and being transfered to Chiang Mai University.
