Friendly Fire

On the recording the pilots in this incident were not under fire. They were on a seek and destroy mission. They sounded pretty cool and calm. They ided vehicles. One said that they were orange rocket launchers. Presumably he'd mis identified the orange tarpaulins nato forces use to id friendly forces. They were on the radio to their base and were aware friendly forces were close by. They got the okay to fire. Pretty soon afterwards they were told to abort the mission as it was a blue on blue. The pilots seemed pretty upset by it.
