D & M Music Studio proudly presents A Classical Saxophone Recital performed by one of the most accomplished Thai classical saxophonist, Nopphon Phunsombatlert who holds the premier prix (awarded by Claude Delangle and Gilles Tressos) from the Conservatoire Nationale de Region de St Maur de Fosses, Paris. He has participated twice at the Summer University of Gap where he has the precious chance to work with most of the eminent Saxophonist of our time such as C. Delangle, A. Bornkamp, V. David, J.D. Michat and C.Wirth.

 

Nopphon has given recitals and master classes in New Zealand and has performed in the Festival Saxophone in Paris 2006. In 2005 he performed Villa-Lobosâ??s Fantasia with the Saxophone Ensemble of Montpellier Conservatoire. As an orchestral saxophonist, he performed, Milhaudâ??s La creation de Monde with the Montpellier Conservatoire Orchestra under the baton of Jerome Pillement at the Opera-Comedie, Monpellier. Nopphon has participated in the conferences given by Jean-Marie Londeix in Perpignan in 2003 and in the 12th World Saxophone Congress in Montreal, Canada in 2000. He holds also the premier prix with the highest possible honour in chamber music from the Conservatoire Nationale de Region de Montpellier. He has written an article for the Australasian Clarinet and Saxophone magazine. He currently works as the Saxophone Professor for the Institut de Culture Musicale in Paris.

 

We are honoured to have piano accompanist, Elise Breon from the Conservatoire Nationale de Perpignan. There she studied Piano with Dominique Taouss and Denis Pascal where she graduated with several premier prix from that institution. She, however, pursued a career as an accompanist, and went to study the Harpsichord and accompaniment with Laëtitia Bougnol in Montpellier and that was also where she participated in the master class of Dominique Merlet. Elise Bréon has accompanied practically all instruments and has been invited to work in many summer courses both for singers and instrumentalist. She was the accompanist for the singing class of Ms. Perrier at the Conservatoire of Perpignan. Currently, she is the accompanist for the chamber choir of Perpignan, teacher at Ecole Municipal de Chateney-Malabry and accompanying the classical dance at the Ecole Municipal de Bezons in Paris. This is their first appearance in Thailand.
