limbo
Uploaded a new picture to my website and wanted to register my sitemap with Google, but both times I got this message; error occurred - An FTP error occurred - cannot put example.html. Access Denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Any idea how to solve this so I can add pages/images to my site. Thanks. Barry
When you went to ftp it, did it ask for an id/password? Sometimes the folder where you store things is read only and you have to upload to an upload folder, then a process on the server moves it to the right place. Depends where your web page is and who is hosting it etc.
limbo
Nope, didn't ask for a password and it's the first time this happened to me.
ChristianTroy
Looks like you have no permission to the folder! Maybe ask your host if he has changed the settings. Another possibility is that the file already exists and you are trying to overwrite it, try to delete it first and them upload the file! That doesn't work, back again to point one, ask your host to fix it!

limbo
Turned out my bandwith was full. Upgraded to a new server and it should be solved by tomorrow.
khunsanuk
Hi, You used all your bandwidth? How much do you get per month and how many visits does your site get? Find this a bit odd unless you either have a lot of very large files on your server, or get loads of traffic. Sanuk!
limbo
15Mb total width. My site, 250 pages or such, without pix etc and without emails is almost 5Mb. Have some pix on there that I don't use, have to wield thu them and get rid of some. Have now 150Mb available. Couldn't receive any emails simultaneously. khunsanuk
Hi, 15Mb in bandwidth? Wow, that is very low, we burn through that in less than an hour. Sanuk!
limbo
The original plan for me website was to have only 30 or so pages. That changed drastically and my bandwidth was depleted. Anybody any ideas on prices? For 15Mb I paid 6K and for 150Mb I'm going to pay 10K per year.
