I usually stay in the Sunlite in Tokyo, so something similar would be fine. Would especially like it if it had online reservations. And it would be a good thing if it were nearby some kind of entertainment district (not necessarily P4P, just something fun). Mr F. Jack, you are nearby correct? lifesabeach Posted May 10, 2007 Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 Don't know Golden Gai, so not clear on what kind of fun you are looking for....Japan is tough for fun if you are used to Thailand....there is an open air brothel out near Tennoji called Tobita - its even in wikipedia...expensive! 30 minutes is close to 150US...fun for a walk through because all the girls sit in the front rooms of little houses and you can check them out..some are in nurses outfits...some look like porn goddesses and others are downright wretched..but at least foreigners are allowed... many of the fun looking places in town "health" and "pink salons" don't allow foreigners...just meeting girls in bars is not so difficult as they are always appreciative of a free English lesson with a real live foreigner...if you are marriageable age that really gets them wet...western women are horney as hell and scarse cuz no one pays them much attention - Chinese massage = rushed handjob, Philipine snack girls - all the beer you can drink and karaoke with complete beauties telling you about their grandma who needs an operation back in Cebu..only 50 US an hour... adawes Posted May 23, 2007 Report Share Posted May 23, 2007 Tobita is really not close at all to Tennoji (including Tennoji Station, Tennoji Park, Tennoji Zoo, and Tennoji-ku, in general). It is in Nishinari-ku, Sanno 3-chome to be exact. While there is some action near Tennoji station, it is probably of little interest to any of us. There are a couple square blocks of love hotels just north of Tennoji Park (look for the big fake Osaka Castle high overhead), and usually two or three ordinary-looking middle age hookers in street clothes, hanging out, after dark, on the main street, in front of the street up the hill to the love hotels.
