Ariston Hotel, BKK

The skytrain has a stop right at Soi 24 so access to the hotel & elsewhere is good. The hotel itself is about a 5 minute walk down the Soi. Not a pedestrian friendly street. There was some large scale construction going on close by, so noise might be a factor for some rooms. The place is popular with the Japanese I believe. I never actually stayed there, but frequented their lunch buffet two or three times a week. Great value for Bangkok at only 162 baht (March 07 price)

It is fine. It is part of the Imperial chain (Imperial Queen's Park, Ariston, Tara and others). Just around the corner from Emporium and across the street from Tokyo Joe's.

Welcome back. It'll be good to see you. When ya arriving?

Cheers,

SD

OK, stupid question time - is there a joiners fee?

Tiger - I had hoped to be arriving in about 10 days but its been delayed days because of various things, so towards the end of the month.

Dont worry - I will make time for you to show me your new A list! ;)
