sui_lo
Over the last few years, I've got married, had kids of my own and taken on responsibility for the wife's two elder kids (male 22, female 18). During this time, I've found that generally I enjoy the nightlife less and often catch myself thinking the girls could so easily be the elder daughter. I've never been that big on the P4P scene anyway but always enjoyed playing around it when there, but now find myself often quite disinterested. Is this a normal thing fathers go through? Or has taking on an older daughter confused issues (not really old enough to have a kid this age myself) ie not had the time to adapt as she grows? Old Hippie
Don't worry about it, this life is not for everyone, and clearly, it has not chosen you. Be thankful. If you are not into it, you are not into it, no big deal, enjoy what you enjoy, and relax! Don't "think too much!" as the girls say!

Julian2
I never inherited any daughters but about half a dozen nieces. They're all polite, lively, happy girls; some at university. I'll admit it turns my stomach to think of them working bar.
Encore
When my daughters were 20, I was a PC feminist thinking citizen. By the time I got involved in the P4P scene, the daughters nearly rached their shelf life. Different realities. I keep my realities separate. sui_lo
Thanks all for the feedback. Was just wondering if it was stage people go through or a more permanent change. Will see how it goes - will probably get over eldest daughter just as youngest starts to become an issue...

Weird
You could always try going with older hookers... Words of wisdom coming from OH. I'm not sure if it was a joke or an actual solution! Either way it's not a bad idea.
