TheCorinthian
... and not that I can think of anything I could get or bring.... Anyone want some old iraqi money with Saddam's butt ugly face on it?
The_Munchmaster
A couple years back one of the bartenders at Goldfingers was selling pristine Iraqi notes with Saddam on them. Bought a couple. Don't know why. Probably fakes anyway.
Flashermac
I saw a Thai army major wearing a Sadam wristwatch. I asked him about it, and he told me he'd been sent to study in Iraq some years ago. The Thai trainees were all introduced to Sadam, who personally gave each one a wristwatch. I'd have had it put away to keep it in mint condition, not been wearing it around all the time.
Hugh_Hoy
Probably would've turned your wrist green a long time ago if you'd worn it much. I got one of Spiro Agnew...mint, uncircluated, etc. Recall buying it via mail order for about 12 bucks. HH
Flashermac
Sadam was no cheapskate. This looked like a good watch. Remember he controlled the treasury of the country too!
laocowboy
Depending on denomination, printed during 1st Gulf War, there's a guy based in AUH who will buy them off your hands, he sends them across the water, & sells triple.
Mark
I made 5800 USD selling a republican guard pecial 9mm to a Kuwaiti. The Kuwaitis like anything like that.
TheCorinthian
The stack I have is 100dn notes I gave a few out but they are in sequential order. They are the old style before the US and the UK took over. I'll see what else that they have as far and memorabilia (sp?).
YimSiam
I know a guy in DC who'd pay like a billion dollars for some WMD - maybe even just a photo or trace of physical evidence? Or not, I guess.
Flashermac
Why didn't he just smuggle some in and then "discover" them?
