Kite_Flyer
Does anybody have any experience with running a dual booting configuration with Windows (either XP or Vista) and OS X on a MacBook Pro? I'm looking to replace my laptop and I'm giving serious consideration to the MBP. I'd like to reduce my dependence on MS but I don't know that I'm up to going the Linux route yet. thornydevil
I have windows XP on my MacBook Pro. I only use it for one particular program and it is very quick. The rest of my work Iuse OS X. The MacBook Pro is a very impressive piece of machine:)

Faustian
OP, dead easy, boot camp if you want annoying reboots or parallels for no reboots. Works like a charm. MBP is a wondrous machine to be sure.
shygye
You can get a Linux Live CD. This runs Linux from the CD without affecting your current setup.
