Bangkoktraveler
Was looking at one Thai shipping website and they claimed you have to have a liscense to export Thai out of Thailand. Is this true. They also claimed you had to get a permit to ship a non Buddha statue out of the country. Doesn't matter if it is new or not. I think this is a scare tactic but not sure. Anybody know for sure?

FreeTime
Check your local Thai Consulate or Embassy web site. The one closest to me has a section on the 'Export of Antiques & Art From Thailand'
