Thanks for the reply! I am just being cautious. I have never been to Chiang Mai, so I am just trying to do some research. I am willing to spend between 600-1500 Bhat per night at a hotel. When in Bangkok I stay at the Nana and pay about 1300 Bhat for a standard room. In Pattaya I am staying at the Diana Inn and spending about 800 Bhat a night. I am considering staying either at the Top North HOTEL or the Star Hotel in Chiang Mai. I welcome any suggestions for hotels in Chiang Mai. I will be staying there about three days.
