panadolsandwich Posted September 25, 2007 Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 Hi, I've recently spent a lot of time in Nam Som about 1 hours drive from Udon Thani. I've met the local Farangs there but never asked if they are members of this forum. Lol if you saw a farang driving a tractor down the main road last Friday that was me. Drove it very well but the shock of a Farang driving a tractor caused many high potential incidents, a couple of schoolgirls were so fixated they nearly drove into a tree! All the talk up here seems to be about rubber trees and smuggling laos whisky amongst the close knit farang community it appears mainly Irish, English, Australian and Kiwis (but they are everywhere!).
