Encore
Well, Soi 6 (Pattaya was 3/4 closed this afternoon, no alcohol visible. But the 1/4 open did function as far as the 'essentials' are concerned.

gobbledonk
This is a little late, but Walking St was a pretty sad sight on Thursday night. Four of us went to the floating restaurant out on the bay rather than venture into the darkened (but clearly 'open') beer bars along Walking Street, and I was particularly pissed off to see that my fave, Bamboo Bar, was closed when a go-go was operating as per usual less than 50 metres away. I guess the owner of the Bamboo didnt have deep enough pockets for the local cops ... Traffic (worse than lower Suk in BKK...) and crowds, along with a small domestic, meant that I stayed put in Jomtien last night - should all be back in business by the time I get back to BKK this afternoon. Good to have a break - my internals are thanking me as I type this. :smirk: Gobble
