("Beach Road : Not Happening - sez Special Correspondent in Jameson's") Beach Road, eh? Pyramids and cathedrals have taken less time in construction and Beach Road is just a few pipes and some concrete children. Perhaps it's a piece of abstract situational art? elef Posted February 11, 2008 Report Share Posted February 11, 2008 I heard a different story, they've plans for rebuild the entire Beach Rd and will close it for many months, but it seems that there's not money for that. Instead 2nd road would be opened for southbound traffic (now just buses are allowed to do that), all traffic to Beach Rd hotels would go up and down the sois. chelseafan Posted February 11, 2008 Report Share Posted February 11, 2008 That road is a nightmare at the best of times, especially up by walking street area, dont think I have ever got as far as that on a songthaew, usually jump off at 13/2.
