I was in a full sized Dodge pickup, so I came out more or less in one piece. The driver was decent enough to admit that he'd been distracted and didn't realise he was drifting across the road (only two lanes wide) until he couldn't avoid hitting me. Even so, I got medical expenses, compensation for the pickup and US$3,000 in cash for the rather effed up nerves in the arm that took the impact. (They still haven't fully recovered.) My mother wanted me to sue in court, but I had no desire to go through that. For the millions this gal wants for her lost PC, I sure as hell should have sued!
