Flashermac
Nice summary. Too bad the old beer garden across the street is gone. Or the old Singha Bier Haus across the road from Cowboy. BTW the Old Dutch was originally Dutch owned and did have good Dutch food. But it's been sold once or twice since then. It's currently Brit owned. Well, if it is, and being a westerner, he should understand the concept of what is trying to be achieved here. So he really should try and accommodate us - we scratch his back, he scratches ours etc. It would be a good little earner for him having the Friday get together there. Maybe he could come up with some sort of special deal for the group with reduced drinks prices for an hour or so. At least you'd be able to negotiate with him readily, I would think. He shouldn't be looking a potential gift horse in the mouth, and should take care of us a little bit.

They must have made alterations or deleted the darts board area? There cetainly wasn't room for 20 to sit when I used to go there.

The_Munchmaster
I remember one of the owners, a hell of a nice guy called Barry, I think? (worked for the UN). Can't remember his last name. I used to see him in the Tavern Bar on PP2 and always pissed him off coz he could never beat me at darts. :hubba:
