Wayne
We're all familiar with the English football hooligan and his propensity to riot, but why has there never been a cricket riot? Aren't cricket fans as enthusiastic about their sport?
The_Munchmaster
I think it has got something to do with the intelligence of the respective fans

Julian2
Hardly hooligans though. I think the worst offence committed during the last Ashes tour involved a fan evicted for bugle blowing. The nasty stuff these days is racism, we make a big deal about racial abuse towards the Andrew Symonds, an Australian cricketer of West Indian descent, by Indian fans and players but I've personally witnessed similar abuse of black English players by Australian supporters. sayjann
'When was the last riot by 'English football hooligans' ?' quite right. the OP should try and recall the baton charges by the Police against British Men,Women and Children in Italy over the last Year. Barry
The average football fan lacks the attention span to sit through cricket.. That's not to say that cricket doesn't have it's share of boorish and anti social spectators.

Guest lazyphil
i simply dont understand the blind devotion people have to sports teams when the players will drop them like a hot potato to join another club for whatever reason. makes no sense to me.
