This piece of the social order campaign should be finished by June since 74 of the 76 provinces had already submitted letter declaring their intention to allow entertainment areas. Cabinet issued a royal decree to zone entertainment areas in 14 provinces. Satun was one of those banning entertainment venues altogether. Only three areas in Bangkok - Patpong, New Phetchaburi, and Ratchadapisek roads - were allowed to operate night venues covering an area of 6sq km. Normally I would have posted the link but something appeared wrong with the BKK Post on-line this morning. Today's news wasn't accessible.
