Gov Spitzer who made a name for himself as a crusader of Wall Street and was elected by a 70% margin paid $4,300 for a prostitute to travel from NY to Washington, DC where they met in a hotel room at the swanky Mayfair hotel. Gov Spitzer is expected to resign. In the tri-state area (NY,NJ and CT), governors of each of the states were forced to resign, two from sex scandals and another from corruption charges. Hey, maybe it is in the water as recent reports indicated that trace amount of drugs are found in the water supply through the country. $4,300 is an outragous figure! The Republicans in the NY State Legislature had given him 48 hours to quit or else they'd start impeachment proceedings. Still, we get to talk about it for at least another week.
