The problem is that I have an important file about 4 pages long. Around the middle of it, about 1 page is now gibberish. You know the little boxes and foreign-looking characters. The backups of it are also like that because I didn't spot the problem before backing up. Everything that was on the screen at the time was fine. Help! Cheers Coss Yes, and "seriously" that's the first thing I did. Didn't change anything. If the file was corrupted, wouldn't it just not open?
