drogon
Settings: Very nice although the smallish "outside terrace" is really on the small side. View: Good Drinks: Expensive but not that much, good wines though especially white ones. Did not try caviar but oysters are the real stuff and well presented. Staff: Incredibly efficient, smiling, friendly and knowledgeable. (and some waitresses are really cute with an excellent English) Very crowded outside terrace, mainly tourists. Bill for 1 bottle of wine, numerous wine by the glass and a few cocktails, some oyesters: 6K for 3 people
CTO
Did her friend go to every dinner with you?
drogon
No, only to some. I have no problem going with some of her friends as they also speak very good English...and they also have good enough jobs to sometimes pay the bill although I do not let them do it. dullnight
Short report but sure a nice bar for drinks and appetizers. Drogon, what about french restaurants, why missing them so brazenly ?
drogon
Because there are enough damn French restaurants in Madrid...so no need for me to go to le Normandie for example
dullnight
uh?!? you couldn't find a pizza in Madrid???
drogon
I mean there are plenty of French restaurants (classic and fusion food) in Madrid but you struggle to find a decent pizza and anyway they are way too overpriced for what you get. (telepizza and pizza hut have happy days here)
dullnight
Ok, point taken. After a few missed occasions there had a try finally in Angelini tonight and that must be one of the most overrated restaurants around. Will try and post a longer review. But better pass.
