Ive tried Norton Ghost again but it doesn't seem to want to recognise the external drive Im trying to backup to. It did work on in the past. cavanami Posted September 4, 2008 Report Share Posted September 4, 2008 Ghost is (at east IME is very fussy)fussy in that if the hard drive has too many bad sectors, it will not do the backup. This was in the days when you booted the PC up on a Ghost DOS floppy disk and made the disk image.
