jon46
The price of oil has dropped from an all time high of nearly from $147 to $83 a barrel aided by the ecnomic crisis, are there any inexpensive flights to Bangkok from USA (east coast). I did a search via the internet and found prices to be in the $1,200 to $1,400 range. I like to visit Bangkok during the months of Nov-Jan when the weather is best. USVirgin
The Asian airlines might lower their fuel surcharges, but it takes time. Maybe only $100 difference, at most. Your best bet is the fares coming down, as the airlines become more and more desperate. I'm talking about November, not December. Contact an ethnic travel agent.
