Well, I imagine there is a psychological term for this and if there is I imagine you know it - attempting humor in a situation that you actually consider quite serious. I am all for taking sensible actions to protect the environment - but, I am also concerned about actions such as using corn for fuel and creating starvation that can come about as an over-reaction due to alarmists.
