AuxFerre
I'm looking for an inexpensive Thai language school in northern BKK/ Muang District Nonthaburi. Any suggestions? Thanks!
samak
probably not many thai language schools up there as not so many foreigners live in that area. recommend to hire your own teacher; less hours but more interaction and talk!
Flashermac
There are a number of private unviersities around there, plus the Rangsit campus of Thammasat University isn't that far away. You might be able to find a teacher or student willing to give private lessons for a reasonable price.
SiLeakHunt
St Johns University is near Rangsit as well, but because you're a bit away from farangland you might find it hard to get a teacher to come and visit. If you can be arsed getting the underground or skytrain, there's one on Sukumvit, the SoiCowboy of Asoke station about 2 doors along from a a bar called Pedro's. Flashermac
He'd be more likely to get a lesson in Isaan Lao.
Old Hippie
I'm looking for an inexpensive Thai language school in northern BKK/ Muang District Nonthaburi. Any suggestions? Thanks! Not sure what your ideas of cheap are...nor your current experience/proficiency level...But, AUA may be an option if you have the time and money, they have many campuses. You may want to look into Somchart Language school, on Soi 11 Sukhumvit, but that is "down town."
SiLeakHunt
He'd be more likely to get a lesson in Isaan Lao. It's better than fuck all and will help you along until he finds a school. Cheers
youngfarang
Have you tried out that school before? If so do they have male teachers or female teachers?
Old Hippie
No. The staff and school do have a good reputation with people I know who did go there. You can contact them here... http://www.somchart.com/index.php?action=home&lang=en
