Faustian
Tell me all about it....it's worse when you start looking at big numbers...I've lost over 2 million Baht equivalent in a couple of months. I'm not transferring anything more than a few grand for a long time. Here's hoping next year is better. I wonder if this has had much impact in UK tourists? Are people fully aware? I certainly wouldn't come here!

dahmer
HUH? I just checked XE and it was 1USD=34.85BHT About the same as last year. I will tell you some terrible rate of exchange. I just returned from Rio. Upon arrival I exchanged in the airport. Rate was 1usd=2.4REALs During my stay I made additional conversions as I needed them. The going rate was 1usd=2REALS. When I left, I had to change plans in Sao Paulo, so I went to the same money exchange booth with all the REALS I had left over. The exchange rate was 2.69REAL=1USD!!!!! I had about 1000REALS that were exchanged locally in Rio for 1 for 2 and now it is worth only 2.69 to 1??? Sucks for me. I should have just kept them for the next time I am over there.
