dashiling
Anybody want to weigh in on traveling around thailand now? I'm visiting for most of the month of january. I bought the ticket last april before the Great Depression II was announced. so i figure i may as well enjoy myself regardless of that. But i wonder how all the troubles in the Kingdom may affect my travel plans. I'll be messing around the usual nightlife areas of Bkk and PTY, and I'll be going way up north to do a kayak trip down the Mekong. Short of open warfare on the streets, the trips still on. But should i expect a general gloom among the citizens? BTW this isn't my first trip to Thailand.
Mekong
As it has been for the last few months I very much doubt that you will notice anything differant from your previous trips put the situation out of you mind, relax and enjoy your vacation ... Just keep that kayak away from me. Disappointed this topic was not about LSD!
