Denmark 'world's happiest nation'

Sayjann may I ask why you like Copenhagen more than Stockholm?

I ask this so I can tell my Scandinavian friends the reasons why Sweden beats Denmark -> then I will look at the fight and bet on the winner.

Strangely: I found the Scandinavians the friendliest people in the west...(with the Scotts)

Copenhagen is a lovely city, but not as nice as Stockholm.

i found the Danes friendly, good travel infrastructure but obviously expensive.

a great country to hirs a bike and just slowly see the sights.

You must have been here during the summer. This time of year the place sucks. :)

i like Stockholm as a City better than Copenhagen with many things to do and things to see.

i was blown away by the Vasa Museum as i have a similar Museum in my City which is about 30 Years behind in restoration.

all the water makes for lovely boat rides to see the sites.

Djurgarden is a nice place to visit.

Copenhagen has a good place in the Tivoli Gardens for a night out.

but i found the City quite compact and not a lot to see,but the porn museum is interesting......

i had more time in Copenhagen and was able to travel around.

great trip to Roskilde by train to visit the Cathedral and the hydrofoil to Malmo.....

Helsinki was boring to me,but others might enjoy it.

i never had any problems with any of the Nordic people who were so warm and friendly.

one Day i must visit Oslo as i want to visit the Thor Heydayhal Museum.

both Cities have their good points but i just think Stockholm is nicer.

but i liked Denmark because i had the chance to travel a bit.

being a bit biased I would say at the same time the Scandinavian capitals can & cannot be compared, but for Helsinki I would agree unless one take an interest in either the semi arctic north or the plenty Russian women there it can get boring quick while Copenhagen & Stockholm share a lot of similarities also differ widely!

basically some will prefer Sweden while others Denmark it's a bit like comparing Paris to Rome, London to New York or Lisbon to Madrid which one is nicer? :)

Even with the expanding cross border metropolitan zone of Copenhagen (Denmark) & Malmö (Sweden) now within easy reach it's still not same as visiting the capitals separately as although there's huge contrasts just by crossing the border Malmö just isn't Stockholm period!

At the time of the marathon(early June) the weather is hit or miss. Sometimes it can be really hot and other times it could be cold. How did you like Västerbron (the West Bridge) it goes between the island where I live (Södermalm) and Kungsholmen (Kings Island). A workmate that ran the marathon once told me that it's the biggest killer in the race.

I haven't been to Oslo since I was young but today it's probably the most expensive city in Scandinavia.

regards
