expat
If you want a 'cheap' car to bang around in, I may have what you're looking for. I have a '95? Mitsu Lancer sitting around and I'm too lazy to go out and sell it. I got it for 125,000 baht, and I'd let it go for that. It's a nice car, but right after I bought it a friend was going to sell his 4 yo Altis to the dealer and I bought that, so now the Lancer is just collecting dust. It has a strong engine and is fun to drive. I also have an old '94? Toyota pickup lying around collecting dust. It's mechanically in great condition and should last another 10 years easy. I'd let that go for 100,000 to a good home. If you're looking for cheap, reliable cars, give me a buzz.
SiLeakHunt
There's been plenty of times I've woken up with a couple of old bangers in Pattaya before now, good job you mentioned it was cars like. Cheers
expat
You got a chuckle out of me that time.
cavanami
Errr, prices are a bit high for "old bangers"
SiLeakHunt
It's the Japs and Koreans paying too much.
expat
I'm always amazed at prices of used cars in Thailand. Something I would pay $1,000 for in the US brings 2 or 3 thousand here.
The_Munchmaster
....It has a strong engine and is fun to drive.... I had a Lancer in Bangkok in the mid 90's and "strong engine and fun to drive" are not words I would have used to describe it!

Well, this one is fast and fun. It's actually fuel injected--that surprised me a bit. I didn't think many cars were fuel injected back then.
