cavanami Posted March 24, 2009 Report Share Posted March 24, 2009 Problem I have found is that TSA will "inspect" your luggage, then throw all your items back into the luggage with no thought of breakage...I have had several items broken and the azz holes at TSA simply *** refuse *** to pay me damages after i go thru all the effort to make the claim(s)! grrrr. this TSA "security" is total bullshit!!! ALHOLK Posted March 24, 2009 Report Share Posted March 24, 2009 IMEI tracking is possible for all GMS phones - just needs the network operator to cooperate (and user needs to remember the IMEI number too). I know this as I have worked with GSM software. The original idea was that stolen handsets could be blocked internationally but this has never worked. Although at the most marginally useful it's a good idea to write it down as it is the only way to identify a mobile that is stolen and the sim card replaced.
