Big Kev
I've been playing tennis 4 or 5 times a week for past couple of years and am really into it. Not great, about a 3.5 (USTA rating) 55 year old. Spending a couple of weeks in Pattaya soon and wondering if I should bring along racket. Anyone know anything about courts in area? Any clubs or ladders? Organized leagues? Been playing mostly on clay, which my knees appreciate. I've known lot of guys who claim to play golf while in Patts, so thought maybe I could find someone to hit tennis balls with in between primary recreation I'll be going there for. bkkman
I am an avid tennis player but I live in Bangkok. In Pattaya, there is the Dusit Hotel at the end of Beach Road around the bend. They have knockers/pros who will hit with you for about 300b/hr. Many condos have courts but you need to find a resident usually. Other hotels have courts and kncokers but I do not have names for you. Also there is a nice club on 2nd road down near the Walking St end of the road [opposite end from Dusit]. You can see the courts from the road while in a taxi. Good luck
..
I knew Fairtex had courts, and looking them up lead me to this: http://www.pattaya-tennis.com/ Hope it helps (I didn't bother exploring it as I never go to Patters). Cheers, SD
