May 1st - May day is a holiday May 2-3 Saturday Sunday May 4th Monday but the day before Cinco de Mayo a BIG holiday May 5th- cinco de mayo. May 6th a bunch of hung over workers might return to work...... So this was already in the cards , I am glad they pushed it and closed more shops and resturants , Hopefully this will slow it down , but if a sick person gets everyone in his house sick , will it really matter that they wait to go out into public on May 6th.... end of rambling.... Because they can't control the border already. Closing the main crossing will just lead to the Mexicans to use their alternate mode of entering. That's 2.24 Billion people 10% die that's 224 Million people To put into perspective what's the population of USA? In 1918/20 Spanish Flu there was very little international movement of people. Today this can spread with across the globe in a day. Then on the other side - most people who died of the Spanish Flu also would not today given modern drugs. I don't remember that one, but looking on Google turned up advert from 1976 promoting the swine flu vaccine in the USA.Looking on Wikipedia , 500 people developed the neurological condition Guillain-Barré syndrome as an unwanted side-effect from that vaccine.
