Alfmaz Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 Iâ??m going to be very vague, last year when I took a day trip to Tiger temple the bus went to the Burma Railway then to the Death Railway and then on to Tiger temple. On the way back after the Bridge of the river Kwai heading towards Bangkok we dropped of the backpackers at a nice little place with bars, clubs and restaurants it look really nice. samak Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 the River Kwai hotel is run down; also the bars and pubs along the main road have gone downhill. better is now the area at the river. well the Disco- and Karaokeboats are a bit special! many korean and chinese group tours on there; they seem to like it!
