..
http://www.thailandworldcomedyfilm.com I had not heard of this until an email from some good friends who have a film in the festival (Thor at the Bus Stop). Finally got some details and they got their website up. http://www.thailandworldcomedyfilm.com/index_en.php?name=programs&file=readprograms&id=15 Ms Vampirella, #2 Tiger cub & I will go see at least this movie. There are some others that look interesting as well -- check it out. Anyone going PM me and maybe we can hook up for dinner/drinks before/after. We'll take pix (if there is anything interesting to shoot) and post a report here after. Cheers, SD

waerth
It kinda came unexpected. The Comedy Association was a co-organizer of the event and was allowed to select 30 comedians to walk the red carpet at the opening and closing. The "boss" at the association, himself very famous, selected 30 "friends" some totally unknown ones. He got a reprimand for that and for the closing things were changed. I was added as a second Farang Thai Comedian I didn't know untill the day itself. It sure gives a huge ego boost getting out of a car with camera's flashing and a mic under your nose and than walking the red carpet to the party. Tremendous ego-boost! Luckily I was dressed up a bit Met some interesting people on the parties surrounding the festival whom are planning interesting productions. I am also busy with my own project with a couple of friends. Waerth
