For my part I liked the Mercure hotel Omaha Beach (from Accor hospitality) for its location. Standard 3-4 stars hotel without any charm but perfect location. Otherwise, if you don't mind paying a bit more and like hotels with a true soul I stayed twice at Hotel Churchill (14 rue St Jean, 14400 Bayeux, France).....no joke, the hotel really exists. Google it and you should find it easily. Last time I stayed there I met some veterans from the 29th Infantry Division/1st Infantry Division as well as US Army Rangers. This said, prices can be quite high especially during summer (this is Europe after all) so if you are not willing to pay 80-150 euros/night then you still have plenty of lower cost choices.
