manaomaiminam Posted November 24, 2009 Report Share Posted November 24, 2009 Not sure about texting from Iraq, but I know in USA any international number that you call/text cannot have a leading "0". So, for example, you have a numbe in Thailand 089 1111111, you would call/text the AT&T excape code 011, then country code 66, then 89 1111111 (NOT 089). Hopefully this helps. (sorry could not resist) also in some countries (many west african for example) the + does not work and have to use 00 in its place. Must be a French thing.
