gobbledonk
Just had a chat with a co-worker and I am really counting my blessings. I fly straight from Brissie to Singapore on the 19th and, as much as I hate even 7 hours in the air, its a doddle. He has to fly down to Auckland then get back on the plane for the 11 hour flight to South America. Thats 11 hours across one of the wildest, least 'occupied' oceans in the world : granted, I dont particularly want any mishaps on any flight I'm on, but where the hell would the pilot go in the event of a problem halfway to South America ? He cant just put it down in one of a dozen regional airports and get someone to take a look at the problem. I know - its safer than driving - but I hope it goes OK for him.
