Pom Michael
High season (or at least what it will be for this year) seems to have started. It was like someone flipped a switch from the last 2 weeks. More people out in the entertainment area (Soi Cowboy) from one Friday to the next - have not seen it so busy in a long time. cavanami
The plane I flew in on (03 Dec) was 80% with all some type of tourist; sex pat, families, backpackers, etc. The local Lotus and Carre Four are packed with roaming tourists...looks to be the start of a good high season...just a hint to LOS, keep the airport open
shygye
Glad to see the tourists are going to the traditional Thai markets of Lotus and Carre Four and not places they could go to in their home countries.
cavanami
...funny how that works...and Mickey D's is booming with that "Thai" food...
Gadfly
It was like someone flipped a switch from the last 2 weeks. I have the same impression. And its particularly noticeable this year since last year we we're coming out of an airport shutdown by for over a week.
