But with check in only 3 hours before flight, I still had 5 hours outside the secure area so I checked out both airport hotels (Pan Pacific and Concord or Concordia) - neither had any facilities for transit pax (actually both were pretty full too). Did find a "special lounge" - but it was for VIP's however you could pay THB 3,000 an hour to sit in there (but there was nothing inside to do). So finally walking around found a MICE lounge for 200 baht per hour - only had internet and a couch - but for 2 hours it was worth it. But never again! Will do better planning next time.
