stumpy
Hi, can anyone advise me if Lee Shamrock is still at the Dubliner and if so which nights he plays. Thanks.
The_Munchmaster
I was in the Dubliner quite a few times during the first half of December but didn't see him or anything promoting him. Funny guy, very entertaining.
elroy
I checked a Lee Shamrock Fan site on Facebook. Seems he's not at the Dubliner anymore. Here's what it said: Tuesday Australian Pub Suk. Soi 11 - Quiz at 7:30, music at 9. Wednesday at the Bull's Head Suk 33/1 - Quiz 7:30, music 9. Thursday at Mulligan's Irish Bar above MacDonald's on Kao San Rd. 9:30 Friday at "The Sportsman" behind the Dubliner at 9:30. I haven't seen him for a while but used to be a regular at the Dubliner. The quiz nights he did were good too but I only made a couple of them due to a late work schedule. Cheers, Elroy
stumpy
Hi, many thanks for the info. I looked for the Aussie bar but could not find a web site for it.
Mekong
In True Rafa Style lets state some facts. Lee is not Irish he is a Canuk Like most wannabe Paddies he believes that the song "Dirty Old Town" is about Dublin, when in fact Ewan McColl (kirsty's dad) wrote it about Salford Way bach then when Molly Mallones on Convent was called Delaneys (even before name Irish Exchange) Kim Fletcher and I gave the daft Canuk the stage name Lee Shamrock. He is still funny PS I am from Salford and proud of the title Dirty Old Town, Great Place to Come From, not a place to go back to.
