yfs
Does anyone still use Real Player? I remember during the early years of my internet experience, it was one of the main formats for videos. Now I never see any RP format videos. I considered RP to be spyware, so I removed it from all my machines.
chelseafan
I use real player as it has a nice feature that allows you to download youtubes videos...as a player itself i think its cack, too cumbersome. Mediaplayerclassic is my favourite as it plays just about any format you throw at it.

chelseafan
VLC will play RP format video. Yes but does it allow you to rip youtube videos as well ?
coops
You can go to keepvid.com to download youtube clips.... or use jdownloader, which is also great for rapidshare/megaupload etc (it's main purpose). I used to use TCMP player and real alternative (and quicktime alternative) to avoid installing the real scumware.
