Scarey. 2 Swedish sometime dykes and a goatee beard wearing Canadian guy on Khao San Rd, "Khao San Road's pretty dangerous sometimes" said the Canuck... All 3 were pillocks. The two Swedish girls in particular showed no respect for Thais or Thai cultural mores. After pissing around in a longtail boat for the day they went off to see Chinatown and bartered a stallholder down from about 20 baht to 17 baht for a coconut. To get that low they indulged in a buffoonish pantomime where the girls offered to kiss each other etc. Then they headed to Patpong. Afterwards it was down to a disco to pick up a farang guy, all the while the Canadian with the goatee tagged along. Eventually back to Khao San Road for more high jinx, stealing beer from a drunken Norwegian guy. Yeah, the real Thailand experience. Next day down to Ayutthya, (I can't spell), to pose for photos mimicking the Buddha statues before offering beer to an elephant... Is it any wonder the Thais think farangs are dicks?
