khunsanuk
Hi, "saw a guy cooking on the street looked like he was making a large flat pancake looked like he was good at it. what are they used for?" These things are called 'crepe' in Thai (seriously!), and you put some stuff on it (jam, minced pork, chilies, whatever). They are then folded and stuck into a paperwrapper. Pretty good actually (well, with jam anyway). Sanuk!
Guest
Could that be a rothi he saw? Those are an Indian import, I believe, if so. Don't know what the red juice was, but yes, some of those sausages can be good. Depends on the type and the vendor.
Guest
Be careful....I saw one guy at a food cart folding beetles into those things and sticking them into a paper wrapper...unless, of course, you like fried beetles!
