Taking it point for point: * Thaksin won over the poor by implementing programs favoring them. So the truth is they can be won over that way, in fact that is exactly how they ended up where they are today, wearing colored shirts. * Thaksin is far more 'elite' than Abhisit. * Thaksin is super-corrupt while Abhisit is clean.
