IRS Taxpayer Assistance Tour 2002 -- Bangkok * * * * * An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax assistor will be coming to the American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok to offer free tax assistance from Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 28, and from Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5. Consultation hours on all days will be 8:00 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:40 p.m., and appointments are recommended. The IRS tax assistor can answer your federal income tax questions, help with account and refund problems, and assist in the preparation of current and prior year tax returns. Tax assistance is available to any person who pays U.S. taxes or files a U.S. income tax return, regardless of citizenship, but consultations will be available in English only. To make an appointment with the tax assistor, or for more information, please call the Embassy's ACS Unit at 02-205-4049.
