Mekong Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 The Centre for the Resolution of Emergency Situation (Cres) will definitely disperse the red-shirt protesters but the operation will be made only when the right time comes, Cres spokesman Col Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Saturday. Col Sansern said the centre will certainly take back Ratchaprasong area but not for the time being as it could lead to unrest in the provinces. “What the Cres is trying now is to separate terrorists from the red-shirts. We will not use force against the demonstrators, but this does not mean that we would not disperse the rallyâ€Â, he said. The spokesman affirmed that there was no rift between the government and the armed force as was reported by the media. Asked about the softened demand for a House dissolution within 30 days by the United front for democracy against Dictatorship, Col Sansern said it depends on decision of the government.
