allistar
I just wanted the imput from the engineers (or educators) out there whether engineering should be introduced into the school course of study as early as possible or is teaching it to kindergarteners just the determination of over-indulgent parents (or administrators that know who pays their salary). http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/14/education/14engineering.html
cavanami
Seems like my engineering schooling started about 4 ~ 5 years old with Lincoln Logs, Erector Sets and other educational "toys". Maybe 10 y.o. doing Heath Electronic Kits, Allied Radio Kits and on from there.
LizardKing
That sounds about right for me too Cav. Plus the odd chemistry sets and microscopes in the pre-teen years too. I also did the boy-child usual of taking apart everything I could find. My old man told me later in life he knew I would end up being an engineer because I could usually put it all back together again correctly LOL!
