Dali
Anyone have any experience with the Danang night scene and recommendations? I know it is relatively quiet and definitely not a nightlife destination, but if you were going to be there for other reasons and wanted some fun? unit731
Well, I have been to Danang - but under very different circumstances. I visited Hanoi a few years back and it didn't take 10 minutes to find some action. Stayed in a smaller older hotel in town. Still had the mosquito nets - but room did have a Russian air conditioner. I too would like to hear about Danang now. Anyone?
chilli13
umm HCMC probably takes ~15min to locate/get action, so perhaps danang will be somewhere in between
Wallenda
I've heard there's a Royal Hotel with a disco, one of the better options for no hassle pickups. I don't know details. Was in Danang once but was with family so didn't explore.
Flashermac
Danang was in I Corps. I was in II Corps. Never got there.
MooNoi
Lots of karaoke bars and a few discos in hotels. The scene in Danang is mainly for local VN guys as most farangs will fly into Danang and then go 30 minutes up the road and stay in Hoi An. (And not much in the way of P4P in Hoi An - that's for sure!) Most big hotels in Danang have a massage place too. Take a phrase book or be able to speak some Vietnamese! Flashermac
Most of the Vietnamese I remember is not very polite.
